Memorize new vocabulary
Today we will learn two new conversational verbs which will aid you in your oral practice.

Apply it to Sentence Structure
While having a conversation with a native Polish speaker, at one point or another you will be asked about your occupation. You already know how to say “I am a student” but what if you need to answer “I study” or “I work”. You can simply conjugate the above verb to fit your response:
For example:
On pracuje w Krakowie.
He works in Cracow.
Ja studiuję w Warszawie
I study in Warsaw.
As you may have noticed, the conjugated endings in these verbs are bolded. The endings: -ę, -esz, -e, -emy, -ecie, -ą, will qualify under the Conjugation II category.

In this conjugation, a few verbs will have some changes in their stems. As you can see above, the stem for the verb pracować would be pracow- and the stem for the verb studiować would be studiow-. While conjugating these verbs you will need to adjust the pracow- into pracuj- and studiow- into studiuj-. This may seem complicated at first but it will become more natural to do so with some practice.
